The Four Elements was created for the Bookmark Collective's exhibition and magazine on spirituality. Over the course of a few months, each member of our collective presented their own perspective on this complex topic. The concept of the four elements shows up in multiple spiritual beliefs and practices. Creating a screenprint based on the elements allowed me to consider and convey them in my own visual language. Each color in this four color silkscreen corresponds to fire, water, air, and earth respectively. Each element is also represented by an animal and a plant.
